Senior MSK Physiotherapist Cromwell Hospital London SW5 0TU Permanent role • Competitive salary • Full Time (37.5 hours) We make health happen. As a Senior MSK Physiotherapist you will provide assessment and treatment for adults with MSK conditions and may also include older teenage patients through specialist MSK treatments to maximise rehabilitation outcomes. You will represent the Lead MSK Physio in their absence and support senior staff in the Therapy department, participating in service development, broader hospital initiatives, staff supervision and training. In this role you will: Be independently responsible for the physiotherapy management of your patient load, using reflective practice and clinical reasoning to deliver individualized treatment programmes. Obtain informed consent continually, empowering patients in their own care plan. Provide specialist MSK care programs based on assessment. Advocate for patients within the multidisciplinary team and attend MDT meetings as required. Deliver education and support to patients. Maintain confidentiality, adhere to HCPC and CSP standards, and implement chaperone policy. Accept accountability for clinical and non‑clinical actions. Keep accurate, comprehensive and timely patient treatment records. Identify, communicate and manage clinical risk. Promote dignity, privacy and safety, respecting patients' cultural, spiritual and personal needs. Key skills and qualifications Degree in physiotherapy, HCPC registration, Enhanced DBS clearance, CSP membership. Further qualification in MSK sports rehabilitation, shockwave therapy, acupuncture, TMJ physiotherapy and/or male & female health. Proven knowledge, experience and confidence in MSK conditions. Experience fitting orthopaedic/MSK braces and other relevant items. Ability to work unsupervised, sound clinical reasoning, and commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork. Evidence of CPD / mandatory training. Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and CQC requirements. Knowledge of QAS and health and safety issues in a therapy setting. UK healthcare experience and proficiency in PC use for software and systems. Previous experience in a private MSK setting in the UK.
