Our diverse projects provide the opportunity to evolve your engineering skills, across the full spectrum of RIBA deliverable stages for new and refurbished facilities. The team structure offers quality mentoring and coaching, aligned to your development as you grow your knowledge and experience. Our projects cover all sectors of the construction industry, enabling cross-pollination of ideas and delivery of quality engineered responses.To be effective in this role you will work within a design team delivering detailed designs, using specialist CAD and BIM (Revit) software and other resources to design the systems required for the project, and liaising closely with other professionals and project teams. You will also advise clients and architects on energy use and conservation to minimise environmental impact and reduce carbon footprint.ResponsibilitiesWorking as part of a design team delivering detailed designsUsing specialist CAD and BIM (Revit) software and other resources to design the systems required for the projectDesigning site-specific equipment as requiredLiaising with structural engineers, architects, surveyors, contractors, and in-house and external project teamsDirectly advising clients and architects on energy use and conservation in a range of buildings and sitesQualificationsAccredited Building Services degree or higher educational qualification; experience in a similar roleIdeally chartered or working towards chartered engineer status with a suitable institutionExcellent communicator able to articulate complex issues between clients and project teamsWillingness to learn with high levels of diligence and organisational skillsRidge operates a CIBSE-accredited mentor scheme for registration to the Engineer Council to obtain CEngSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesConstruction #J-18808-Ljbffr
