# Graduate Mechanical Engineer - Building Services – Manchester## **Graduate Mechanical Engineer – Manchester**We are looking for a Graduate to join our Building Services team in Manchester. To learn more about our Building Services team and further projects, .The role could see you working as a mechanical designer in a large project team, or being a project engineer on smaller schemes. You will be working on some of the most technically challenging projects in our portfolio - recent examples include: , at Manchester Science Park, the , Space Studios and the new at Bramley Moore Dock in Liverpool.* You will embrace the latest technologies to improve performance and sustainability. Sustainable design is top of our corporate agenda.* Undertake detailed mechanical engineering building services design and calculations (using both software and knowledge to verify robust calculations).* Ensuring service and project work are carried out to an excellent standard - within agreed deadlines and within budget.* Preparation of technical specifications and schedules, design development reports and innovative design solutions.* Plan and manage input to CAD for production of design work.* Represent Buro Happold at meetings with clients, other professionals and suppliers.**We would like to hear from you ifyou are studying (or have graduated) in any of the below degrees:*** Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering* Architectural Engineering* Building Services/MEP Engineering Degree* Internship experience at engineering related firm preferred, and proven interest in the built environment**Graduates at Buro Happold**When you join Buro Happold you are embedded into an exciting network of engineers and consultants, that supports your career development.
