Our roads design and technical assurance skills, together with our integrated behaviours, drive excellence in complex multi-disciplinary projects and frameworks at regional and national levels.As a Graduate Engineer in the Roads team, you would be helping to deliver National and Regional Infrastructure Frameworks to major projects and local improvements including a wide variety of active travel walking and cycling schemes. We work in collaboration with many clients on both a local and national level and our work covers a range of activities at all stages of infrastructure delivery, for a wide range of public and private clients.Our Teams Work On Some Of The Most Prestigious Projects In The UK, including:HS2Sizewell CSmart MotorwaysDublin MetroLinkNM20 Cork to LimerickA5 Western Transport CorridorRoads Infrastructure Design: Our Graduate Engineers in the Roads Infrastructure Design team, develop their design skills working on National transportation schemes, active travel schemes, public transport and rail interface projects, as well as Local Authority major schemes and minor improvement works.Day-to-day Activities Could Include:Designing and drafting of transport solutionsAttending site visits and inspectionsData Analysis and ReportingProject CoordinationStakeholder CommunicationAssisting Senior EngineersOur two-year Graduate Development programme is designed to support personal and professional development and growth through an engaging blended learning experience. The programmes include core business and professional skills training, career development workshops and resources, valuable networking opportunities, mentoring for professional registration and a breadth of on-the-job experience.To be considered for this role, you’ll have graduated with at least a 2:1 in a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject for the role you are applying for. You'll be looking to start work in either April or September 2026.
