Partner of the Design Services Alliance. Expertise in waste management services for strategic nuclear clients in the UK. Offering life extension and feasibility assessment services.Delivery of tasks and support requests to quality and schedule.Maintaining effective communications with a wide variety of stakeholders, from plant-based staff to off-site design teams.Supporting timely responses to Technical Queries and Fault Observations raised by the off-site design teams.Daily liaison with the project team delivering the works.Upward, prompt reporting of issues.Ensure that input to designs are to required standardsEnsure that the work is completed to the agreed schedule.Proactive interaction with other disciplines and partners to ensure overall project goals are met. Drive innovative solutions to reduce cost and schedule.Participate in relevant meetings, such as Model Reviews, Design reviews.Support the Lead Engineer where required.Why Join the Community of Switchers? Ongoing training with numerous career opportunities. 70% of our managers are promoted internallyMy profile Essential Experience:️ Educated to HNC / HND or degree in a relevant discipline or a chartered & member of an appropriate instituteNuclear site experience (preferably Sellafield) and operating in a site-based role.Background experience demonstrating a record of successful delivery to timescales. Experience with installation design packages and instrument datasheets.Familiarity and experience of working and complying with applicable SL Practices, standards, and engineering guidesFamiliarity with SL systems e.g., Cimage, icePAC, CAESAR, AVEVA Peferably DV clearance but those with SC will be considered.We are committed to equal treatment of candidates and promote, as well as foster all forms of diversity within our company.
