You will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers. Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service. This is a 7 day operation; our shifts may include some weekend working.Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock into the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.ResponsibilitiesDrive locally as part of a delivery team and build relationships with regular customers.Ensure customers receive their deliveries on time and with a high level of service.Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.Complete paperwork accurately.This is a 7 day operation and shift patterns may include some weekend working.QualificationsCat B / 3.5T LicencePrevious driving experience (at least two years)Previous experience of delivery driving is preferredAbility to carry out manual deliveriesExcellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitudeGood level of literacy and numeracyAbout BookerBooker is the UK's leading food & drink wholesaler.
