About The Team The Social Sector Audit team is dedicated to purpose‑led organisations across charities, education and housing. From academy trusts and universities to housing associations and national charities, we provide specialist audits that go beyond compliance to support long‑term impact, resilience and good governance. What You’ll Do Lead audits for social‑sector clients, including charities, education providers and housing organisations. Deliver accurate, compliant and high‑quality work. Build relationships by acting as the key contact to resolve queries promptly and to ensure billing runs smoothly. Ensure audit delivery meets agreed timescales, standards, procedures and quality expectations. Coach and collaborate with audit assistants and seniors, reviewing work, giving feedback and guiding them through fieldwork. What You’ll Bring Professional qualification – ACA / ACCA / CA (or equivalent). Sector expertise – experience auditing charities, schools, universities and housing providers. Leadership experience – ability to lead external audits and supervise and coach junior staff. Technical knowledge – strong understanding of SORP, UK GAAP (FRS 102), IFRS and governance frameworks. Stakeholder engagement – competence managing client communications and ensuring delivery of exceptional, timely audit services.
