Overview NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non‑clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. Shift Pattern and Contract The shift pattern for this post is rotational. This is a fixed term post of 12 months. We are looking to appoint a fixed term, full‑time Locum Consultant in Emergency Medicine. Initially on an 8.5:1.5 contract and this post represents an exciting opportunity to join our established team of Consultants in Emergency Medicine, providing senior care and leadership in the Emergency Department. It is expected that the successful applicant will have a high clinical profile with the drive and initiative to achieve and sustain the highest standards of emergency medical care.
