We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at The Junction Health Centre, located directly outside Clapham Junction Train Station. The centre is open 7 days a week, 8am–8pm, and we are looking for someone to work minimum Friday 8am–8pm, with the option to take weekend shifts.You will be a key member of our team, using your advanced clinical skills to provide autonomous care for patients presenting with acute, undifferentiated, or complex conditions, and/or managing long-term conditions. This is a unique opportunity to develop your clinical expertise in both urgent care and general practice.You will be required to work within Clinical Guidelines, Policies, Procedures and utilising expert judgment to work outside these frameworks where necessary. You must be able to prescribe within professional competence. This role will be working across both general practice and the hub service on an ad hoc bank basis and you will play an integral role in delivering a high-quality service to patients.Main duties of the jobAssess, diagnose, treat and discharge patients autonomously dailyOrder investigations and interpret resultsProvide an excellent standard of patient care and health promotion to the general publicDeliver care for patients with acute, undifferentiated, or complex conditionsDevelop clinical expertise in urgent care and general practiceWhat we'll need from youBe an autonomous Nurse Practitioner with a patient assessment qualification and recent experience in Primary/Urgent CareHold an independent prescribing qualificationHold an NMC PINExperience in managing long-term conditionsHow will we support youRegional and National career development opportunitiesRegular clinical supervision and education events, including weekly case discussions with the Medical LeadBimonthly evenings with meals/clinical updates for the team, with external speakersBespoke Learning Management System to address learning needsDiscounted rates for national update/clinical topic refreshersSupport from the wider team as neededAbout usAdditional information:For an informal chat about the role, contact the Lead ANP Sunil Sahota at Sunil.Sahota@practiceplusgroup.com.
