Animal Management Lecturer – Islington

Location: Islington Borough
Contract: 23 hours per week, spread across 5 days
Duration: Initial 6-week contract, with strong potential for extension
Start: Immediately / As soon as available

An exciting opportunity has arisen a college we are working with based in the borough of Islington and we are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Animal Management Lecturer to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and supporting learners working towards careers in the animal care sector.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons across Levels 1–3 in Animal Care/Animal Management.
Teach a combination of units, including Animal Husbandry and Work Experience.
Plan, prepare, and assess learner work in line with awarding body requirements.
Support students in developing practical skills, confidence, and industry knowledge.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.Applicant Suitability

Applicants should possess a Degree, HND, or other relevant qualification in an animal-related discipline, science, or an associated subject.
We welcome applications from experienced Lecturers as well as individuals with significant industry experience who are keen to pass on their skills to others.
