Midday Supervisor at Sandford St Martin's CE Primary School Apply for the Midday Supervisor role at Dorset Council for the Sandford St Martin’s CE Primary (VA) School. Join our team to support all children with a safe, engaging, active and sociable lunchtime. This is a permanent, part‑time position (3 hours per week, Thursday & Friday, term time only for 38 weeks). The role starts as soon as possible. Interviews will be held on 4 Dec 2025. Responsibilities Plan, organise and supervise lunchtime activities for primary school pupils. Ensure the lunchtime environment is safe, active, engaging and sociable. Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to promote well‑being and school values. Respond promptly to incidents and support pupils in need. Qualifications & Experience Experience supervising children or working in an educational setting preferred. Good sense of fun, reflective, committed to continual improvement through professional dialogue. Flexible, supportive and able to work as part of a team. Requirement to obtain a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Right to work in the UK confirmed during appointment. Benefits & Salary Pro‑rated salary based on hours with appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements. Salary paid in equal monthly instalments, adjusted during employment if the position is left part‑way through a school year. Exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974; protected convictions not required to be disclosed.
