Podiatrist - £2,000 Incentive Band 5 podiatrist or final‑year student (HCPC registration by summer) to provide podiatric input to patients in East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust’s NEE Podiatry service. Overview Provide assessment, differential diagnosis, advice, training, intervention and evaluation of planned care. Work with colleagues across health, social care, education, mental health and voluntary sectors to ensure holistic and integrated delivery of care. Empower patients to make decisions about their own care and encourage self‑management. Provide support to parents, clients and carers, and support the work of assistants, students and volunteers. Access to a car and driving licence is essential due to service delivery across North East Essex, Colchester, Clacton and Harwich with home visits. Responsibilities Provide assessment, differential diagnosis, advice, training and appropriate intervention. Carry out single assessments and contribute to integrated care plans. Implement aspects of the care plan, potentially acting as care coordinator and reviewing the plan on behalf of the integrated team. Empower patients to make decisions about their own care and encourage decision‑making and choices. Signpost patients to community and voluntary services; support patients’ carers and assistants with risk management. Provide support, training and advice to parents, clients and carers. Support the work of assistants, students and volunteers. Collaborate with colleagues across health, social care, education, mental health and voluntary sector. Develop programmes of intervention and education, weighing options and delegating aspects of care.
