We’re looking for an enthusiastic Nature Conservation Manager to lead the way in preserving and enhancing Islington’s biodiversity and nature reserves. What You’ll Do Manage the Ecology Centre, a hub for environmental education, community events, and volunteering opportunities. Lead the Nature Conservation Team and oversee three Local Nature Reserves ensuring Islington’s biodiversity thrives. Drive forward Islington’s biodiversity agenda by overseeing the Biodiversity Action Plan, a network of Sites of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINCs) and develop our Local Nature recovery strategy (LNRS). Provide expert ecological advice to support the Planning Department in shaping the future of the borough’s green spaces.
