Responsibilities Personal care and support: Assisting with daily routines to promote comfort and wellbeing Companionship: Offering warmth, kindness and a friendly face Live in care: Providing round the clock care for those who need it most Promoting independence: Encouraging clients to live fulfilled lives with autonomy Medication support: Safe, timely administration of medication Specialist clinical care: Supporting clients with complex needs confidently and competently Palliative and end of life care: Providing compassionate care during life's most sensitive moments Qualifications At least 6 months of paid professional care experience (or personal care experience in the UK) Confidence supporting individuals with limited mobility A valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle The right to work in the UK Experience with complex care is preferred but not essential; full training provided Registration: Applicants in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland will require the relevant registration (e.g. SSSC, SCW, NISSC). Not applicable in England.
