OverviewAre you excited about solving operational challenges and taking ownership for how your program performs? The Sub Same Day team in AMZL Network Planning Org is looking for a Launch and Expansion Manager to own part of the delivery program for an exciting new customer offering with faster delivery times. This role can be located in London or Luxembourg. SSD-Direct is at the forefront of last mile and ultra-fast fulfillment/delivery innovation. You will sit at the apex where technology meets operations, leading milestones, accelerating launch timelines, communicating insights to senior leaders, and defining/driving projects to improve our network for customers. You will collaborate with partner teams from operations to tech/engineering to build short-term and long-term roadmaps. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, creative, motivated, has strong business judgment, and excels at problem-solving in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.Key skills include strong analytical and quantitative abilities to identify opportunities and estimate improvements; knowledge of operations, continuous improvement, and structured problem-solving (e.g., Lean Six Sigma or Theory of Constraints); the ability to earn trust and influence stakeholders worldwide; curiosity to understand complex technical systems; attention to detail; the ability to manage multiple priorities; comfort in nascent and rapidly changing environments; clear communication with stakeholders at different seniority levels; and a hands-on owner mindset.Key responsibilitiesOwnership of launch timelines and launch performance focusing on quality and costStrategic workstream to improve Same Day offering across EU and UKWork on out-of-the-box initiatives to holistically improve speed in EU and UKApprise multiple senior stakeholders (L10+) in different forums about the program and latest updatesLead peak planning and capacity solvesBASIC QUALIFICATIONSExperience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teamsProgram or project management experienceExperience analyzing and communicating results to senior leadershipBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Data Science, or EngineeringExperience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardizationExperience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvementsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience delivering projects within scope, time, budget, and qualityExperience working in Fulfillment CentersEqual Opportunity and PrivacyAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
