Electrician (Level 3) Location: HMP LewesSalary: £39,579.20Contract: 39 Hours | Full time | Permanent We are seeking a dedicated fully qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Lewes, a Category B male prison. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, you will work in a supportive, family‑like environment from Monday to Friday, helping to maintain the safety and smooth operation of the prison. As an Electrician you will work alongside experienced colleagues – plumbers, carpenters, painters, cleaners and administrators – to provide a safe and secure environment for prisoners, staff and visitors, and support the wider community’s rehabilitation efforts. Qualifications Certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition) Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including relevant NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S). For example: 2367 or 2357.
