Ideally we require the successful candidate to be based in the North West of England, although we will consider applicants from any UK locations, if their skills, knowledge and experience are suitable for the position requirements.As Sprinkler and Water Mist Designer, you will provide comprehensive support as part of a busy sprinkler & water mist design team. Working with clients and engineers you will plan and organise works from the order stage through to completion ensuring client satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Design Manager, the role will involve preparing the design drawings and calculations for projects.Working closely with the project team to ensure designs are completed on time and to the relevant technical standards.Involved in attending design meetings as and when necessary and supporting other members of the team.Working with clients with the occasional face to face client meeting.RequirementsLPCB QualifedExprience of working in a similar role within the Fire Protection industry.Skills & AbilitiesExcellent customer service skillsProfessional telephone mannerExcellent oral and written communication skillsProficiency using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and AccessCompetent using AutoCAD & Canute FHCBIM / Revit modellingAbility to confidently deal with difficult and stressful situationsAbility to maintain accurate recordsGreat interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a teamAbility to communicate effectively with staff at varying levels throughout the companySalary/package is dependent on experience and company policy is to promote internallySeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeIndustriesIndustrial Machinery Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
