Solotech is not accepting Agency/Recruiter submissionsReporting to the Senior Account Manager, the Associate Account Manager will have experience in the audio-visual industry. Supporting and pursuing new rental prospects, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction for new and existing clients and demonstrating our technical services to potential customers. Will work as part of the project team to manage professional equipment rentals from enquiry through to after rental support. The Associate Account Manager will contribute to company turn over and business growth through supporting their peers and directly generating income.Why Solotech?To take your career to the next level As a global leader inlive productions, systems integration and virtual technology, our team is comprised of more than 2,000 passionate individuals.Our ambition?To deliver spectacular experiences worldwide.Main Responsibilities:Manage touring package rental sales from start to finish, handling enquires, preparing quotations and chasing leadsAssist Account Handlers and team members in a client facing role to create detailed orders to ensure effective delivery.Actively pursue touring and rental projects, acquiring contracts through client liaison, remaining as first point of contact as required.Confirm orders, instructing equipment preparation staff of the process.Follow up and develop leads, including enquiries fielded via sales administrators and ensure they are dealt with in a timely and positive mannerEngage in marketing activities to positively promote the global brand.Develop effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction, initiate and manage customer relationships and identify / resolve any problemsLiaise with the Operations and Warehouse managers to fulfil requestsEnsurethat customer service standards are maintained and continually improved.Maintaining good communications with other departments that are involved with or affected by project activityWork with the accounts department to ensure that all projects are invoiced in a timely and appropriate mannerMonitor industry pricing trends, reporting any significant findings when appropriate.Any other reasonable ad-hoc requests as required by your manager.Essential skills / experience:Effective administration skills, together with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to use database software is essentialKnowledge of speaker prediction software (ArrayCal, Soundvision, Display 3) and CAD preferred.Flexibility and adaptability, capable of multitasking, while remaining calm under pressureDemonstrate an ability to maintain discretion and confidentialityAbility to anticipate problems and find effective solutions aligned to the Company's policies procedures.Strong business acumen with the ability to evaluate budgets and profit potential and work towards deadlinesKnowledge of working to industry standard accepted practicesDemonstrate an ability to maintain discretion and confidentialityLevel of education:Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in the field of audio / AVWork Experience:A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.Essential Requirements:Right to Work and Remain in the UKFlexibility to work unsociable hours which may include evenings and weekends, as required, in addition to your normal hours of work from time to time.Full, clean UK driving license.Our offer to you:Competitive Medical Cash PlanGenerous holiday allowance, 25 days + bank holidaysEmployee Assistance Program: free counselling, legal support & 24.7 help lineOpportunities for training and career advancementPension plan with employer contributionCycle to Work SchemeIncome ProtectionAnd moreDon’t have all the required skills?
