Due to engineering departmental growth, they are looking for an experienced days maintenance engineer. Role & Responsibilities Maintain all reactive and schedule maintenance on production machinery Working alongside and supported by shift engineers for breakdowns on production lines Electrical & mechanical fault finding and repairs Role has a big focus on reliability engineering, continuous & process improvements Ensure the SAP system is kept up-to-date with relevant information Ordering of spares & parts to budget, manage service contractors when they are on site Scheduling and planning of all maintenance & PPM activities Flag up anomalies on machinery & equipment, report reliability and asset care management Knowledge, Skills & Experience Looking for a multi-skilled engineer - able to fault find electrically & mechanically Must have worked with production & packaging machinery At least 5 years experience outside of apprenticeship Ideally have completed a formal apprenticeship scheme NVQ or City Guilds qualified to level 3 or higher Have a flexible approach to working hours, cover extra hours and different shifts if needed Computer literate - able to use SAP systems Experience of working on hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC's, control panels, gearboxes Beneficial if able to do welding, fabrication and fitting work Passionate about reliability engineering, continuous improvements, asset care management To apply please email your CV / resume to chrisg@hunterselection.co.uk. - Chris Gumm - 01908 010 438 If you are interested in this position please click 'apply'.
