Project Technician – South of the UK We are recruiting a Project Technician to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis based in the south of the UK. Responsibilities Deliver site-based projects in a hands-on capacity. Conduct project related tasks independently and support the Project Manager in daily tasks, taking responsibility in their absence. Lead sub-projects under the supervision of the Project Manager. Assist in the preparation of Safety Documentation (SSOW, SSA, RAMS, Lift Planning); training to be provided as required. Ensure the site team has all necessary resources to enable the project to be carried out successfully. Meet with the project team (Technicians & Field Supervisors), ensuring that each team member understands their responsibilities and accountabilities. Manage vendor relationships, relaying information between the project management and client. Coordinate queries and escalates points of concern to appropriate stakeholders, monitoring resolution and updating all involved. Carry out day-to-day project coordination activities, analyse and improve current ways of working where possible. Qualifications Electrically or mechanically qualified. Involvement in engineering projects. IOSH qualified (preferred). Must be willing and able to travel (sometimes stay overnight) throughout the south of the UK when required. IT skills such as MS Office. Ability to work independently and adapt if problems occur. Benefits A competitive base salary. Annual bonus. Paid travel time.
