Senior CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner Bolton CAMHS seeks a Band 6 Senior CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner to join a compassionate and collaborative team. The role involves assessments, formulation, and treatment for children and young people in partnership with the multidisciplinary team within the THRIVE framework. Key Responsibilities Provide high‑standard, evidence‑based, client‑centred care to CYPs with mental health problems. Conduct assessments, formulation, interventions, advice and risk management. Participate in daily huddles, clinical supervision and case discussions. Engage proactively with young people and families to promote positive relationships. Support the team in delivering individual, group and family work. Apply recovery and THRIVE principles, fostering safe practice, meaningful choice, optimism and social inclusion. Qualifications & Experience Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or equivalent. Experience with mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions with CYPs. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including clinical information to families, carers and other professionals. Ability to manage a wide range of clinical severity and work with distressed clients professionally. Experience in case management and supervision of students (required). Knowledge of specialist therapies for difficult‑to‑treat groups (desirable). Post‑graduate qualifications or further studies in child & young people mental health (desirable). Benefits Pay enhancements: 30 % for evenings (8 pm onwards) and Saturdays; 60 % for Sundays and bank holidays. Annual leave: 27 days plus bank holidays, rising to 29 after 5 years and 33 after 10 years. Excellent pension, cycle‑to‑work scheme, salary‑sacrifice car scheme.
