OverviewTechnical Sales - Pumps & Power role based in the United Kingdom (Bury St Edmunds area). Permanent full-time position with flexible location for the successful candidate.The RoleGAP Pump & Power Services Division provides advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for generators, dewatering & sewerage pump applications, including hoses, settlement tanks and water processing solutions. Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximising Pump & Power Services hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customers and winning new business. This includes delivering sales presentations to senior management and promoting our product offering at depot/customer trade days.You will work with stakeholders across the GAP Group network, including Regional Sales Managers and their teams, to proactively promote hire opportunities for Pump & Power equipment within existing customer bases. This role drives revenue for the Bury St Edmunds depot, with flexibility on location for the successful candidate.ResponsibilitiesMaximise hire revenue opportunities from existing major accounts and win new business.Deliver sales presentations to senior management levels.Promote product offering at depot/customer trade days.Collaborate with GAP Group stakeholders to promote hire opportunities.QualificationsSignificant experience in a field sales role within the Pumps or Power industry.Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth.Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities; able to work under pressure and prioritise workload.Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word) and CRM systems.Full Driving Licence (Essential).About UsFrom one division, GAP Hire Solutions now has 10 divisions offering equipment hire across the UK.
