We are currently recruiting for a full-time role to join our talented and welcoming team. Standard hours are Monday to Friday in our office, but flexible hours will be considered. There is free on-site parking available.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Preparing sole trader, partnership and limited company accounts to a high standard
  • Accurately processing accounting adjustments, e.g. through SAGE, Xero or FreeAgent
  • Managing client relationships
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
  • Preparing corporation tax computations and CT600 returns
  • Preparing self-assessment tax returns
  • Managing and reviewing work prepared by junior staff
Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years experience with a chartered accountancy firm
  • Extensive experience preparing management and statutory accounts
  • Strong knowledge of accounting systems such as Sage, Xero and FreeAgent
  • Good technical knowledge
  • Experience in using accounts and tax packages (preferably IRIS)
  • Personable, warm and confident personality
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with staff and clients at all levels effectively

Pay: £30,000-£36,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience
