This role could be for you BASIC SALARY: £40,000Read on to fully understand what this job requires in terms of skills and experience If you are a good match, make an application.- £45,000 BENEFITS: · Overtime · Company Car · Pension · Mobile & Laptop · 24 Days Holiday LOCATION: North of England COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Leeds, Hull, Sheffield, Liverpool, Newcastle, Preston, Middlesbrough JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Service Engineer- Gluing Systems This role will require you to cover North of England, Scotland and occasionally Ireland and is a classic Field Service Engineer role reporting to the Customer Care Manager, involving repair, refurbishment, install and commissioning of machinery.You will be staying away from home, 2 days per week on average, with very occasional weekend work and overtime paid door to door.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Field Service Engineer- Gluing Systems As our Service Engineer, you will: · Carry out field installations, preventative maintenance, equipment health checks and repairs across the broad range of our products.· Investigate, diagnose, and rectify any customer equipment faults in a timely manner.· Ensure continual accuracy of data entered into the service management system.· Identify opportunities for minor repairs and highlight these to the clients as recommendations.· Provide technical support and operator training.· Be able to provide feedback so that you can maintain good customer relations and improve product design.· Raise complaints where necessary and feedback sales opportunities PERSON SPECIFICATION: Field Service Engineer- Gluing Systems We would be delighted to receive applications from individuals who meet the following brief: · You will be a qualified and experienced Field Service Engineer · Any knowledge of gluing systems would be of interest · Ideally, you will have knowledge of the packaging industry, particularly corrugated or folded cartons · Ideally, time served or qualified to a minimum of ONC level in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering · Calm under pressure · Excellent planning and organisational skills · Self-motivated, ambitious, entrepreneurial and excellent team player skills.THE COMPANY: We are a leading provider of adhesive applications to the packaging industry in the form of cold and hot melt systems and understand quality and precision as a development and manufacturing principle and gold standard service as part of our products.PROSPECTS: There is potential for career development within the business, subject to performance.Where possible, we have an active policy of promotion from within and firmly believe in the development of all personnel INTERESTED?
