Our client has an opportunity for an Engineering Instructor – Electrical Marine to join them on a permanent basis in Portsmouth. You will be mentoring the next generation of engineers, leveraging your career expertise without the need for prior teaching experience Role Engineering Instructor – Electrical Marine Location Gosport, Portsmouth – fully onsite Hours 37.5 per week – Term Time Salary £39,000 – £41,000 Clearance Eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level due to the nature of this role. Responsibilities Deliver training modules within Electrical Marine Engineering to the Royal Navy Conduct both theory and practical training in Electrical Engineering Ensure outstanding relationships with the customer and within the Marine Engineering Electrical training area Assist in maintaining and updating training documentation and assess student coursework to provide feedback on performance Utilise best practice across the establishment to inform and direct quality and improvement activities across RN training Be responsible for the duty of care and progression of training during the delivery phase Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent Proven experience within Electrical/Engineering Proficient in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace Competent Electrical practical/hand skills Desirable Skills, Experience & Qualifications Classroom experience teaching technical subjects in an adult education environment Level 4 teaching qualification Experience of the Defence Systems Approach to Training (or equivalent) Apply If you are interested and meet the requirements, please apply immediately. #J-18808-Ljbffr
