Suspected Cancer Diagnostics Pathway Coordinator MT Consulting Group is looking for a dedicated coordinator to support the implementation, management, and monitoring of the RAPID Prostate and Bladder service. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the pathway design, ensuring efficient processes, quality‑checking referrals, liaising with GP practices, coordinating appointments across IT systems, and supporting patients and carers throughout their hospital journey. Key Responsibilities Manage the administration and delivery of the RAPID pathway for both prostate and bladder. Coordinate prostate and bladder biopsy referrals through a single point of access. Ensure all referrals contain complete information and coordinate the timely collation of missing data. Act as liaison for referrals, radiology booking for one‑stop haematuria booking, and patient test preparation coordination. Work seamlessly with the RAPID prostate & bladder team to ensure appropriate services are available at the right time and place. Serve as the single point of contact for patients, carers and the healthcare team, triaging sensitive enquiries and referring to the appropriate department. Provide early detection of issues within the prostate and bladder pathway. Support the delivery of patient information, ensuring verbal and written communications and timely service delivery. Act as patient advocate and facilitator to resolve access barriers. Utilise computer and software applications to maintain patient data and communicate with the multidisciplinary team.
