We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Employability Skills Tutor to deliver high-quality education and training across a range of sector-specific qualifications. These include Employability Skills, Customer Service, Business Administration, and Adult Social Care. The role involves delivering engaging and effective programmes of learning, assessing learners against awarding body standards, and supporting them to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to secure and sustain employment.
You will plan and deliver awarding organisation requirements, design engaging learning experiences, assess and track learner progress, and ensure compliance with all quality and funding requirements. A key part of the role is helping learners build confidence in employability skills such as CV writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies, while also delivering functional skills (Maths & English) sessions where required.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure positive learner outcomes.
*
Support learners in developing essential employability skills and workplace behaviours.
*
Plan and deliver engaging, tailored sessions to meet individual learner needs.
*
Track and record attendance, performance, and progression in line with compliance requirements.
*
Promote a positive, high-performance learning culture and address attendance or behaviour issues proactively.
*
Work towards key performance indicators, ensuring compliance with ESFA and Ofsted requirements.
Requirements:
*
Recognised teaching or training qualification at Level 3 or above (AET/PTLLS or equivalent).
*
GCSE (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and IT.
*
Experience in delivering education or training, ideally in employability or related sectors.
*
Strong coaching, mentoring, and communication skills, with experience delivering both 1:1 and group sessions.
*
Up-to-date knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework, ESFA funding rules, and safeguarding.
*
Commitment to CPD and professional development.
*
(Desirable) IAG qualification.
