Job Title Estimator – Infrastructure at Turner & Townsend Company Overview Turner & Townsend is a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 60 countries. Job Description Owing to continued demand and our ambitious growth plans, Turner & Townsend are recruiting Estimators and Senior Estimators with proven experience across the Infrastructure sector (Rail, Airports, Highways, Power, Water or Utilities). Opportunities are available in London, Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester. Responsibilities Produce accurate and comprehensive estimates and cost plans for projects. Control and manage the estimating process at project level. Produce estimates autonomously, without management or supervision. Support development and promotion of estimating good practice within the firm. Assist in achieving departmental objectives. Stay abreast of developments within technical areas to give best‑practice advice. Qualifications High‑standard qualification in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience. Successful experience of providing estimating and/or QS services in a large project environment. Experience working with estimating software packages. Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status or working towards it. Desirable membership of RICS, CIOB or equivalent.
