With over 1,700 professionals across 13 countries, we’re dedicated to delivering top-tier wind projects through safety, precision, and collaboration.We’re now looking for a Safety Specialist to help us raise the bar on safety performance across international offshore wind projects and support the broader HSEQ team with a proactive, hands-on approach.As Safety Specialist, you’ll drive health and safety initiatives across global project sites, while ensuring compliance, supporting training programs, and leading safety campaigns that empower our teams in the field. ResponsibilitiesConduct internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and Safe System of Work (SSoW)Identify and mitigate risks across projects and operationsDevelop and deliver safety training programs and HSE campaignsLead and report on incident investigationsPromote behavior-based safety and continuous improvementConduct site visits to support HSE culture and campaign implementationCollaborate with Project and Site Managers on safety performanceSupport safety content development for operational teamsProvide expert input for GWS’s overall health and safety development strategy Qualifications10+ years of HSEQ experience (ideally in wind, oil & gas, manufacturing, or construction)Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant safety fieldCertified in NEBOSH/IOSH, internal auditing (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001), GWO BST & BTTStrong incident investigation and analytical skillsFluent in English, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagementSelf-driven, fact-based, with strong ownership and teamwork mindsetFully software literate and able to manage workload autonomouslyValid driver’s license and willingness to travel globally What we offerA dynamic role in the fast-paced, impactful renewable energy sectorFull-time employment with competitive salary and benefitsFlexible hours and hybrid work opportunitiesTools and equipment provided (laptop, phone, etc.)International exposure with real career growth opportunitiesInclusive and informal workplace culture focused on safety, quality, and results Equal opportunityAt GWS, we believe in equal opportunities.
