Deputy Manager – Livelyhood Pub Group We’re on the hunt for an Experienced Deputy Manager who loves pubs, is passionate about guest experience & is keen to work with an independent London Pub Operator. An experienced Deputy Manager excited to be an integral part of one of our independent pubs. Someone who shares the same passion and love of pubs that we do. You love creating top‑notch guest experiences and thrive from putting a smile on both the team’s and our guests’ faces. Developing the team and seeing their progression is second nature to you. You have solid financial knowledge and enjoy proactively supporting the General Manager to drive and exceed KPIs and budgets. Previous experience working with sport as part of the operation, or an interest in sport would be highly advantageous. You’ll also bring your previous relevant Deputy Manager experience in a £20k+ pub or bar and our ideal Deputy Manager candidate will have outdoor/garden & food experience in their toolkit too. What You’ll Do Support your General Manager to drive the business and create memorable guest experiences with the team. Lead in the delivery of Livelyhood in pubs in a way that has our five Lively Ways (values) of Authentic, Daring, People, Lively and Sustainable at its very heart. What We Are Offering A competitive salary of £35k – £36.5k based on experience + tronc + bonus Additional tronc/service payments – in region of £4k–£7k making OTE up to £43.5k Additional Deputy Manager bonus plan – £1,300 a quarter / £5,200 a year bonus pots Excellent, supportive working environment with 45 hour working weeks our norm Milestone rewards and recognition scheme – starts when you celebrate 6 months with us and keeps going 40% food and drink discount for you and 3 guests valid in all sites from day 1 We offer hospitality apprenticeships to support your development if you’re keen Access to 35% of your earnt pay on demand giving your financial flexibility Wellbeing focused employer–employee assistance support available Access to Hospitality Rewards platform About Livelyhood We currently have 7 independent, inviting modern locals in London. You’ll find us in Crystal Palace (The Faber Fox), Balham (The Regen), Wimbledon (The Old Frizzle), Wanstead (The Bull), Clapham South (The Perky Nel), Bromley South (The Artful Duke) & Elephant and Castle (The Rosy Hue). We are also planning to open more sites in London & investing in current sites, so this is a brilliant chance for the right people to join us and be a key part of our growth. What’s on our minds?
