Role Description Role Description : To provide HVAC Engineering support to the HVAC Team engaged in the functional design of HVAC Systems on the River Class Destroyer Program for the Royal Canadian Navy. We are looking for someone who has clear HVAC experience including calculations, schematics, psychrometrics. Some experience in either Marine or Buildings Services sectors. They shall be familiar with the design of HVAC systems, and ideally practised in delivering solutions that meet customer requirements in at least one phase of the shipbuild cycle Core Duties Preparing specifications, develop Stage 1 HVAC System design solutions in line with specifications and relevant quality and technical standards. Support and participate within the Zonal Integration process ensuring 3D model design reflects design intent and achieves compliance to relevant quality, standards and requirements. Participating in developing, maintaining and modifying engineering processes and procedures in assigned areas in response to technical developments and operational need. Carrying out basic technical analyses and investigations, including evaluation and selection of technical options, and prepare reports with suggested recommendations to support the resolution of problems and the improvement of engineering capability.
