As an Infrastructure Engineer you will work in our Engineering team and be responsible for commissioning new hardware and software for our client projects, and supporting hardware and software for our client's ongoing services.Duties And ResponsibilitiesDay to day management of the procurement of new hardware for sale to clientsSource and evaluate new hardware itemsMaintain effective working relationships with hardware suppliersMaintain knowledge of EPoS hardware market trends and developmentsWork with the Attraction Management Specialist team to prepare demonstration equipment for clients andCommissioning new hardware including physical and cloud based servers, EPOS systems and card terminalsCommissioning infrastructure software such as Windows and SQL ServerCreating Gold Builds of our custom software for deployment to clientsProviding ongoing maintenance and support of hardware, infrastructure softwareContribute to second line support of our bespoke applications as neededRequirementsIn general the employee will be expected to operate at SFIA Level 3, and be capable of demonstrating a wide range of skills and behaviours.
