Asset Analyst

Job Description Asset Analyst 6 Month Contract Rate : 200 per day (Inside IR35) Location : Kidlington (Office Based) We are looking to recruit an Asset Analyst on an initial 6 month contract for a leading public sector organisation. This is an office based role in Kidlington Oxfordshire. Key Responsibilities Record and report on ICT assets (hardware and software) in line with ITILv3 Asset Management processes ensuring the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) is accurate and up to date. Support the onboarding and changes of new ICT assets and ensure their integration into the CMDB via the Change Management process. Conduct periodic audits of ICT assets visiting locations as required to ensure accurate recording and take corrective action where necessary. Provide guidance and support on ICT Asset Management processes across the organisation. Produce accurate reports for senior management to support key business decisions. Essential Skills & Experience Strong technical skills including Microsoft Excel Visio and data analysis. Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel to multiple locations. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels including external vendors. Knowledge of software license procurement and renewal processes. Ability to work flexibly including unsocial hours if required. Desirable Experience in ITIL Asset Management or a professional qualification in the field.
