About the Role:

A high-achieving secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking a Chemistry Teacher to join its thriving Science department from January 2026. The role will primarily involve teaching Chemistry at KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach A-Level Chemistry for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Chemistry across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 optional).

Plan, prepare, and assess in line with national curriculum requirements.

Differentiate learning to support pupils of all abilities, including SEN and EAL.

Support students with GCSE preparation through effective teaching and targeted interventions.

Contribute to enrichment activities such as science clubs, trips, and competitions.

Requirements:

QTS and experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level.

Strong subject knowledge and passion for Science.

Ability to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for Chemistry in students.
