About The Role Shift Pattern: 5 days in 7. 0700 - 1530 / 0830 - 1700 / 1000 - 1830 Key Responsibilities Support the Head Chef/Chef Manager on site in menu planning and development, creating new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand. Oversee the preparation and cooking of food, ensuring kitchen activities operate in a timely manner. Manage inventory to keep the kitchen adequately stocked with fresh ingredients and culinary necessities; handle ordering new supplies as necessary. Maintain high culinary standards and quality control, ensuring all food products are prepared in line with company recipes. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in food production and service within Contract Catering and team management. Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality or equivalent. Strong leadership, with the ability to mentor and motivate a team of chefs. Experience building relationships with clients and staff, ensuring client expectations are met every day. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing demands. Ideal Candidate Criteria Right to Work in the UK. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively. Understanding of financial management, budgeting, and cost control. Excellent customer service skills. Strong problem‑solving and practical solution skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Good time‑management and organisational abilities. Competent with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
