Job Summary Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5/ST6+) in Vascular Surgery at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH). This post is available from 02 May 2026 for 12 months in the first instance. Main Duties Gain experience in a high‑volume tertiary Vascular Unit. Involvement in the diabetic foot service, complex aneurysm programme and the delivery of the deep venous stent programme. Management of patients in ward, outpatient and theatre settings. Encouraged to initiate and complete a research or audit project to enhance CV and clinical experience. Work within CUH’s comprehensive specialist services in all fields of Vascular Surgery and the regional Major Trauma Centre. Qualifications and Requirements Evidence of achievement of Core Surgical training. Full registration with and a licence to practice with the General Medical Council at time of application. Demonstrable English communication skills in line with GMC Good Medical Practice (2013). Non‑UK applicants must hold an IELTS or OET score before obtaining a GMC licence. Applicants requiring a skilled worker visa must provide a criminal record certificate for each country where they have lived continuously or cumulatively for 12 months or more in the past 10 years. Applicants must present a UK professional registration. Contract and Salary Salary: £65,048 to £73,992 per annum, pro rata. Contract: Fixed‑term, 12 months. Working pattern: Full‑time.
