Principal Geologist

Principal Geologist Position: Principal Geologist Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom Salary: GBP 55,000 – GBP 65,000 (depending on experience) We are looking for a Chartered Geotechnical Engineer to join our award‑winning, multidisciplinary consultancy and work on multi‑million pound rail and infrastructure projects. As a Principal Geologist you will become part of our geotechnical team and be supported on your journey towards director level. Key responsibilities: Lead geotechnical investigations and design for major rail and infrastructure projects. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior staff. Deliver high‑quality reports and presentations to clients and stakeholders. Ensure health and safety and environmental compliance across project sites. Requirements Chartered Geotechnical Engineer with extensive UK experience in geotechnical/geological or geo‑environmental work. Leeds‑based with the right to work in the UK permanently. Relevant UK degree and full UK driving licence.
