Shift Engineer – Staycity Group (London, England, United Kingdom) We’re looking for a Shift Engineer to join Wilde, an expanding aparthotel operator across Europe. This role is based in London. Salary: £13.50 per hour. Deliver daily, weekly and monthly safety checks and ensure everything is in working order in apartments and public areas. Take part in preventive and curative maintenance of premises and equipment while contributing to internal environmental protection measures. Assist with managing stocks, equipment and supplies for the department. Ensure compliance with current safety procedures and control the condition of building, technical equipment and all safety and alarm systems. Identify and report potential hazards and reduce them immediately. Assist with complaints, resolving issues in conjunction with the Chief Engineer and General Manager. Represent Wilde as the Brand Ambassador with enthusiasm, energy and flair. Be driven, motivated, innovative and respectful, fostering a culture of inclusion. Engage with community and local charity events. Qualifications Previous relevant experience preferred. Knowledge of country/property specific maintenance, safety and health regulations in a similar environment or property/hotel is desirable but not essential.
