Senior Cost Manager Join us at Turner & Townsend as a Senior Cost Manager. We are currently recruiting Senior Cost Managers / Senior Quantity Surveyors to join our busy and expanding Infrastructure business. You will support clients across a range of prestigious infrastructure projects throughout Ireland. Key Duties Establish friendly, professional and appropriate relationships with clients, colleagues and other parties involved in the projects and programmes we support. Administer a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies. Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget. Pro‑actively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring that applications are made correctly and in a timely manner. Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering. Manage contract change effectively, ensuring that projects remain within governance and adopt best practice. Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets. Proactively provide sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders. Ensure that final accounts are negotiated and agreed. Lead people and commissions as needed. Qualifications Numerate and computer literate, highly competent in Microsoft Excel and contract administration software. Familiar with and experienced in both pre‑ and post‑contract roles, including cost planning, procurement, contract formation, post‑contract cost control, contract administration, value management/engineering, risk management and final accounts. Qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 10 years relevant work experience. Experience in large civil engineering projects in the rail, water or aviation sectors (or other large civil engineering infrastructure projects). Working knowledge of the NEC form of Contract. Chartered via RICS or SCSI. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to influence at senior levels and think strategically. Hold the right to work in Ireland & UK.
