The Portfolio Monitoring team provides ongoing monitoring of private equity, private credit and infrastructure investments and helps to ensure the integrity and completeness of portfolio data used for portfolio monitoring and client reporting.In This Role You WillConduct various portfolio monitoring activities which include the ongoing cash flow and liquidity monitoring of existing investment portfolio.Maintain and update key investment database, ensuring integrity and completeness of data used for portfolio monitoring and client reporting.Prepare responses to inbound client requests and assist with client reporting.Support the team in the digitalization of the portfolio management capabilities.Participate in the team day‑to‑day activities of running a best‑in‑class global Alternative investment programme.Required QualificationsDeep and thorough understanding of Asset Management – Private Markets / Private Equities investment structures and how the associated cash flow / liquidity monitoring is undertaken is essential.Strong commercial awareness gained from working as an analyst using well‑developed quantitative and qualitative analysis skills and working with complex financial / big data sets is essential.Evidence of a high level of communication capability and ability to work with various forms of information to produce easily digestible reports and presentations is essential.Excellent stakeholder management skills, coupled with a professional confidence that engenders the view of a ‘Trusted Partner’ across internal and external audiences is essential.Demonstrate good time‑management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks often with conflicting priorities is essential.This role is based at HSBC Office in London and has a hybrid working pattern.We are committed to creating diverse and inclusive workplaces.
