They are passionate about the value that diversity of thinking and lived experience brings in enabling us to become a learning organisation and leader in delivering compassionate care for their patients.Our clients Department of Neurology consists of three Consultant Neurologists who together have run General Neurology Outpatient Clinics, provide a neurological consultation service to the patients admitted into the Group of Hospitals. The Department also provides a specialist MS and Movement disorder service supported by clinical nurse specialists. Outpatient clinics can be provided at all three sites of our clients.The successful appointee will play a key role in delivering a General Neurology service with preferably a specialist interest in Headache disorders. The post holder will provide outpatient consultation service and an inpatient lesion neurology input shared with the other neurologists in the department. This this involves review and management of acutely ill patients and the facility to access the full available services at the trusts main siteThe appointee will be expected to participate in all departmental activities, including audit, teaching, sharing administrative responsibilities and contributing to the further development of the department are essential. The post holder will agree to work within the models of care agreed within the department.The appointee will truly be joining an amazing opportunity based in the Midlands at one of the biggest trusts in the UK with close proximity to two international airports, along with outstanding private and public schoolsAdditional Information- Excellent leadership within the team- 10 PA's per week (Can be increased if necessary)- Must have GMC Registration- Outstanding nearby schools- Excellent location in one of the biggest cities in EuropeThis is a Consultant in Neurology vacancy.
