Role PurposeThe Tender Manager/Writer will be responsible for managing the full tender process – from qualification and response planning through to submission and post-bid clarification. They will collaborate across departments to produce compelling, accurate, and client-focused tender responses that showcase ITPS’s value proposition and differentiate us from competitors.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage the end-to-end tender and bid response process (RFI, RFP, ITT, PQQ, frameworks).Analyse tender documentation, identify requirements, and coordinate timely responses.Develop and maintain a central bid library of content, case studies, CVs, and templates.Ensure compliance with client requirements, deadlines, and internal governance standards.Content Development & WritingWrite, edit, and tailor high-quality content for tenders and proposals, highlighting ITPS’s strengths in managed services, cloud, connectivity, cyber security, and data centre solutions.Work with technical experts to translate complex information into clear, client-focused responses.Continuously improve the clarity, style, and impact of written submissions.Collaboration & Stakeholder EngagementCoordinate input from sales, technical, service delivery, finance, and legal teams.Conduct response workshops, interviews, and review sessions to gather information.Provide guidance and coaching to contributors on bid writing best practice.Track win/loss outcomes, gather client feedback, and improve tender strategies.Keep up to date with industry trends, frameworks, and procurement processes.Identify ways to streamline bid management processes and improve efficiency.Skills & ExperienceProven track record in tender/bid management or bid writing, ideally in IT, technology, or managed services.Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with an eye for detail.Strong project management and organisational abilities, able to handle multiple deadlines.Ability to understand and present technical solutions in a clear, persuasive way.Competence with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) qualification or equivalent.Familiarity with public sector procurement frameworks (Crown Commercial Service, NHS, local government, etc.).Experience within IT Managed Services, Cloud, Cyber Security, or Data Centre sectorsPersonal AttributesHighly organised and deadline-driven.Collaborative team player with strong stakeholder engagement skills.Commercially astute, with the ability to identify win themes and differentiators.Resilient under pressure and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.Desired BehavioursClient-focused mindset – always considering how responses demonstrate value to the client.Quality-driven – committed to producing accurate, polished, and professional submissions.Ownership & accountability – takes full responsibility for meeting deadlines and delivering results.Proactive communicator – keeps stakeholders informed, manages expectations, and escalates risks early.Collaborative working – builds trust and strong relationships across all departments.Continuous learner – seeks feedback, adopts best practices, and strives for ongoing improvement.Integrity & professionalism – ensures compliance, fairness, and ethical standards in all bids. #J-18808-Ljbffr
