We are seeking a commercially minded, forward-thinking procurement professional with the ability to drive real impact across a dynamic and evolving organisation.This role will focus on our Technology and Data portfolio, which represents an annualised spend in excess of £23 million. As a senior member of the team, you will act as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor, working closely with Technology & Data Service Owners to shape and guide procurement activity.You will bring a commercially astute approach to procurement, ensuring that every decision supports value for money, innovation, and long-term efficiency across the Group. With a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and collaborative working, you will help to set the overall direction of procurement strategy in this space—delivering both immediate savings and sustainable benefits.This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys influencing at a senior level, building strong cross-functional relationships, and driving change in a complex environment. By combining procurement expertise with commercial insight, you will play a key role in optimising how we source, manage, and invest in technology and data services.This role is Hybrid working, so travel to our Travis Perkins head office based in Northampton is required for part of your working weekPrincipal AccountabilitiesDemonstrable experience in Procurement roles with experience of Technology projectsConsiderable experience of successful commercial managementCredible, strong, persuasive communicator. Strong negotiation, relationship and interpersonal skills.Works well with others in an integrated team environmentWell organised with an eye for detail.Ability to adapt to a fast-moving landscape and keep pace with latest thinkingAnalytical mind capable of managing numerous information sources and providing data analysis reports to senior managementCustomer focus – able to meet the demands of internal and external customersCan make decisions that are well informed and timelyExcellent communication skills – providing verbal and written communication that is outstanding to both direct reports and senior management as well as other stakeholdersFlexible and adaptable – capable of changing direction where required and showing flexibility to meet new demandsCreative thinking – able to look at alternatives and consider new ways of thinking to problem solveMulti-tasking – can manage several concurrent projects and prioritise demandsExtensive knowledge of best practiceKnowledge of market trends in contract and pricing models, service delivery and performance management.What’s in it for you?Not Sure you Qualify?
