Location: Warwick (Hybrid, 2 days in the office per week)
Contract Length: 6 Months
Are you ready to take the lead in delivering transformational change within the utilities sector? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Programme Manager to join our Programme Delivery team within the Transformation and Major Projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a flexible central pool of Programme and Project professionals dedicated to supporting major deliveries across our client's portfolio.
What You'll Do:
As a Programme Manager, you will play a crucial role in steering high-impact programs towards success. Your responsibilities will include:
Programme Planning: Prepare and maintain the Programme Plan with regular progress reports to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Governance Leadership: Design and lead the programme's governance arrangements, ensuring high-quality materials are produced for executive governance.
Budget Management: Oversee the programme's budget, monitoring expenditure and ensuring benefits are realized.
Resource Allocation: Ensure the right skills and resources are allocated to individual workstreams for optimal performance.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that products and services meet required standards for quality, time, and budget.
Stakeholder Communication: Manage communications with stakeholders and contribute to the Communications Plan.
Risk and Issue Management: Identify and manage risks and issues at a programme level, working closely with key stakeholders to find the best solutions.
Holistic Change Delivery: Oversee the delivery of business change, covering people, processes, and technology.
Programme Management Office (PMO): Manage an effective PMO, reporting on programme progress regularly.
Contract Management: Act as the first point of escalation for the Primary Third Party delivery partner, if applicable.

Proven experience in delivering transformational change of a strategic nature.
Strong background in operationally critical environments.
Proficiency in both waterfall and agile methodologies.
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Solid understanding of planning, monitoring, and controlling programmes.
Familiarity with budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
Confidence in engaging with and challenging senior executive stakeholders as necessary.
