If you want to work somewhere filled with smart, creative and humble people who are passionate about building things, solving problems, and collaborating.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide technical vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.Act as the go-to expert for tackling the most challenging technical problems and optimizing existing software.Provide guidance, training, and technical mentorship to other engineers, promoting their professional growth.Clearly communicate technical decisions, vision, and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersDesign and implement new software features.Troubleshoot and fix technical issues that arise and maintain existing code. Work with other developers, designers, product owners, and QA to build and improve our software.Build and deliver software that revolutionizes how things are made. Basic Qualifications:5-8yrs years’ experience programming in commercial, open-source or academic software in a senior roleDeep knowledge of C++ or Typescript and working knowledge of other languages and frameworks such as React, OpenGL, WebGL, C#, and Microsoft development toolsBSc or BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent in engineering or computer scienceAbility to work in a scrum environmentExperience in CAD programming, geometric modelling, graphics programming, games programming, computational geometry, simulation or similar a plusPreferred Qualifications:Experience with modern software development methodologies and toolsAny or all of the following languages: C++, C#, JavaScript, typescriptWhat you will be a part of:Get to know the latest and future 3D printing solutionsParticipate in work-related conferences and trade showsChange the world by enabling innovative applications for 3D printingModern Development Environment - React, Flux, Electron, ZeroMQ, Protobuf, Typescript, Javascript, C#, C++, VSCode, Github, NUnitContinuous Integration - TeamCity, Chef, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, JenkinsScrum - JIRA, Google Docs, Metabase, integrated QABenefits:Relaxed informal open plan office, in Cambridge city centreFun quarterly team events plus BBQs and social get togethers.
