Regulatory Manager for a offshore energy transmission & interconnector business.Regulation, Interconnectors, Electricity Transmission, OFTO About Our Client Large offshore energy transmission & interconnector business Job Description I am looking to recruit a Regulatory Manager for a large offshore energy transmission & interconnector business. (London or Glasgow). You will: Deliver the successful completion of the Cap & Floor regime to be applied to the interconnector projects through initial and final project assessment Produce accurate quarterly status reports to Ofgem. Identify and provide detailed and accurate responses to relevant Ofgem consultations Develop regulations for interconnectors in NI Supporting FAB Link as required to maintain and further the project in GB and France Support compliance with licence and industry commercial code requirements Support the development of the current OFTO and future OFTO regulatory models Work with partners on confirming the approach to setting extension revenues Support the development of CATO regulatory models and advise on regulatory issues within the tender and licencing processes The Successful Applicant You will have: Relevant degree-level education preferred Experience of electricity regulation in GB, ideally associated with electricity transmission networks or and interconnectors Experience will likely have been gained in a developer, regulator, advisory/consulting role, utility or legal firm. A self-starter able to operate independently with limited supervision Ability to lead regulatory discussions and negotiations An in-depth understanding of the legal, regulatory and market arrangements for the GB electricity industry An appreciation of the changing regulatory landscape, e.g. MPIs, ASTI etc Numerate with the ability to quantify and assess the merits of different options.
