Casualty Claims Technician

Pro Global Casualty Claims Technician PositionPro Global offers a hybrid working model for this role, with the majority of work performed from home and weekly travel to one of our local ELPL hubs in Glasgow, Liverpool or Horsham.ResponsibilitiesHandle a cradle‑to‑grave, mixed caseload of EL/PL short‑tail disease claims, including Housing Disrepair, Care Claims, Stress Claims, RSI, and other types.Manage all diaries and correspondence within agreed SLAs.Liaise with solicitors and brokers.Develop effective business relationships internally and externally.Maintain accurate records for auditing and regulatory purposes.Identify potential fraud.Support the team in achieving business objectives.Provide technical advice and guidance to external clients.Oversee PLF for litigated claims to ensure appropriate case strategy.Contribute to projects relevant to the sub‑vertical.Strengthen client relationships.Represent Pro in a professional manner to peers and potential marketplace acquaintances.Skills and ExperienceProven ability to handle liability claims.Experience with claims including HAVs, NIHL, asbestos, and other types – a distinct advantage.Ability to work towards Service Level Agreements.Effective communication and stakeholder relationship management skills.Knowledge of claims handling and impacting legislation.Claims Handling Authority/Licence appropriate to the work type.Adaptability to change.Strong relationship‑building skills and a professional, approachable manner.Seniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeFull‑timeJob FunctionGeneral BusinessIndustriesInsuranceBy submitting your personal data to Pro Insurance and by using our website, you give your consent that all personal data you submit as part of your application may be processed by us in the manner and for the purposes described in our HR applicant privacy policy.
