CAU Booking Clerk – General Surgery – Kent & Medway IC Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust Please note this role is currently only being advertised to staff members who are currently working within the Kent and Medway IC. This is a permanent position within the CAU Booking team, responsible for booking outpatient appointments, managing waiting lists and assisting with patient queries. The General Surgery service operates 8:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities Book outpatient appointments and manage waiting lists. Assist patients with queries and provide customer care. Work closely with medical secretaries, clinicians and the management team to ensure patients are managed appropriately. Gain a thorough understanding of the Trust’s access policy and the 18‑week RTT pathway guideline. Qualifications Excellent customer care skills. Prior healthcare administration experience preferred but not essential (training provided). Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
