The Role at a Glance Class 2 Driver Location: Coventry Salary: £38,755 – £60,606 (plus potential driver bonus of £2,100 per annum) Hours: Permanent – Day shifts – Monday to Friday (average 48‑hour week) About the Role Reporting to the Assistant Transport Manager, you will be the face of Univar, delivering exceptional service to customers in a competitive market. The role involves operating Class 2 vehicles, carrying out low‑pressure discharge deliveries, trunking between sites, and customer deliveries. You will maintain high standards, work independently, and promote a safety‑first culture across an average 48‑hour week. Responsibilities Drive Class 2 ADR vehicles safely and efficiently. Perform low‑pressure discharge deliveries and trunking between sites. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and documentation. Ensure compliance with legislation and keep digicard up to date. Communicate with customers and internal teams. Qualifications ADR certificate for packages (essential) Class 2 HGV licence (essential) Full, clean UK driver’s licence Minimum 2 years relevant experience Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and housekeeping Flexible with work times; self‑motivated and willing to learn Full compliance with legislation, clean digicard About You Mid‑Senior level Full‑time employment Additional Information We offer excellent company benefits, a supportive workplace, and growth opportunities within a global organisation.
