Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr My client is a large industry leading mechanical & electrical building services contractor, headquartered in central London. The business has an annual turnover exceeding £250 million and offer a complete M&E solution to several leading blue‑chip contractors & end users covering the commercial office, data centre, hotel & leisure, pharmaceutical and residential construction sectors. In conjunction with a commercial and pharmaceutical development located in Central London, an exciting opening has now arisen for an Electrical Project Engineer. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role managing the successful design, preconstruction, and project delivery of major infrastructure project, with a total MEP value circa £100 million. Duties & Responsibilities Support the engineering team to achieve project deliverables. Prepare and submit technical submittals for approval. Liaise with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers with respect to specification, validation & value engineering. Attending weekly progress meetings. Assist with project engineering & design development. Assist with technical & commercial issues. Assist with preconstruction engineering activities and the production of information including design development, construction details, technical submittals, subcontracts etc. Project reporting & technical documentation. Electrical services coordination. Ensuring key electrical milestones are achieved, with a high quality of installation maintained throughout. Skills Communication Team leadership Organisation & time management Microsoft Projects Teamwork Qualifications / Education HNC/ bachelor’s degree within a relevant field preferred. CSCS/ SMSTS (Site management skills and construction safety). Experience in managing construction projects valued upwards of £50 million.
